Meet Valeria
Valeria Ferrufino
Exploring 14 National Parks through field-study courses ignited my passion for environmental preservation. During college, I led local beach cleanups and sustainability outreach events as the President of the Green Team. I earned a Sustainability and Resource Management certification along with 3 Associate’s degrees at Irvine Valley College before completing a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, with an Emphasis in Environmental Analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certification at CSU Fullerton. In my free time, I enjoy photography, hiking, and biking.
3 Things I Like:
Beach-combing at low tide to find nudibranchs and octopuses
Humboldt redwood tree groves— the tallest trees in the world
Sunsets with a view
